2021: I got cancer which prompted an outburst of writing!
2022: MAGGIE script - placed 26% - BBC Academy.
2023: SHE TOWN script - placed 1% - BBC Open Call.
2024: BBC VOICES (South) Mentorship programme.
2024: BBC 3 LONG STORY SHORT - MAGPIE (magical realism)
(Short films: HIGH TEA/ KNOCK, KNOCK / JACKSON'S CAT )
2025: Currently working on Easy Money - TV series and a treatment for The Debt Collector (feature film).
TELLING THE STORY:
How I find my way home.
I live with my family is sunny? Brighton. but grew up in Harlesden, London - with Scottish parents. My chaotic family life resulted in my being expelled from school and leaving home at age sixteen.
I eventually attended UCL to History of Art - before setting up my own dance /teaching business.
I have studied Advanced Story Structure with John Yorke and filmmaking with Julian Kerridge at Brighton Met.
I identify as disabled and working-class (underclass). And I campaign for Advanced Breast Cancer patients (BBC News).
